Our Strategy, Vision and Values

Our Strategy

GMMH’s strategy sets out our vision and strategic priorities for 2025 to 2028.

This strategy has been developed in partnership with our colleagues, the people who use our services, carers, people with lived experience and in collaboration with our partner organisations across all sectors and commissioners to ensure we are aligned to the needs of others, and they are supportive of our vision.   

Our purpose, Vision and Strategic Priorities

The Strategy describes:

Our purpose : ‘ Working in partnership to improve the quality of life for all we serve’  

Our vision : ‘Great places for care and great places to work’ 

And our Strategic Priorities for the next three years: 

  • Delivering Care that Matters, ensuring people receive the right support at the right time and in the right place, embracing a ‘community-first’ approach 
  • Working Together, collaborating withservice users, carers, and partner organisations is essential to our success. 
  • Being Fit for the Future, making the best use of all our resources to support safe, effective and sustainable care.   

Our Values

The Trust also has five core values that underpin how staff and volunteers work together to care for the Trust’s service users and deliver the vision that were co-produced with our workforce. These are:

  • We are open and honest;
  • We work together; and
  • We value and respect.

“Living our GMMH Values” is our values-based behaviour framework which sets a clear standard of expectations of the behaviour of all our GMMH people.
